Born 24th April 1934. The sister of Warren Beatty, one of the top box office stars of the 1960’s. Shirley was adopted by Messrs. Sinatra, Davis Jr. and Martin as The Rat Pack mascot.
Won an Oscar for her role in 'Terms of Endearment' . Now spends her time involved in 'New Age' projects.

Born 2nd March 1949, Gates has shot to worldwide fame in her role as Chief Medical Officer Dr. Beverly Crusher on the USS Enterprise in "Star Trek - The Next Generation".
Her superb, long red hair has made her a pin-up with other Earthlings and little Green Men all over the Solar System.
Appropriately, Gates has also starred in "The Hunt For Red October".

Born 7th May 1922 Washington, USA. Character actor who has appeared in hundreds of feature films, but is better known for his TV work. On the small-screen Darren has starred in 'Mission Impossible', 'The Man from U.N.C.L.E.', and more recently plays the role of Agent Arthur Dales in 'The X-Files.'

His film CV includes lead roles in (deep breath) Shallow Grave, Brassed Off, Velvet Goldmine, Star Wars, and the seminal Trainspotting - and all before the age of thirty!

Michèle Mercier

Born 1 January 1939. Appeared in more than 50 movies, but none of them could take away the memory of "Angélique" in which she played the most adored heroine of France. The role of Angélique, "the Marquise of the Angels", was both a blessing and a curse. It catapulted her to almost instant stardom, rivalling Brigitte Bardot in her celebrity and popularity, but ruined her acting career. The character of Angélique made to forget the other aspects of the career of Mercier, but it is true that general public discovered her only in "Angélique", and made her a real star of the French cinema of that time. By the end of the 1960s, the names Angélique and Michèle Mercier were synonymous, and to escape type-casting, Mercier was compelled to leave France and try to re-start her career in United States, unfortunately without any success.

Took the Hollywood shilling and went down the peroxide route in a big way. She is still one of the biggest icons of the 20th Century, but think how great she would have been with a natural Redtop.

Born 3rd Dec 1960 in Boston USA. Started her theatrical career in the late 1980’s with a number of off-Broadway shows before making the breakthrough into movies with 'The Hand That Rocks The Cradle' followed by 'The Fugitive' co-starring with Harrison Ford and Tommy-Lee Jones.
Titian beauty Julianne made 'Benny & Joon' a real RedFest as comrades The Proclaimers contributed to the soundtrack. More recently Julianne has starred in the Jurassic Park sequel 'The Lost World' and the Coen Brothers hit 'The Big Lebowski'.

Born Dublin 17th August 1920. Her father was a successful businessman who part-owned Shamrock Rovers Football Club. Maureen was discovered by Charles Laughton and made her name as a Worldwide superstar with her role as Esmerelda in the 1939 film “The Hunchback of Notre-Dame”. Once voted Most Beautiful Woman In The World, and still a great beauty.

Born 22nd July 1974, Dulman, Germany. The face of New German Cinema, Franka studied at the Lee Strasberg Studio in New York, making her film debut in “It’s a Jungle Out Here” winning the Bavarian Film Prize for Young Talent in 1996.
 
Has also appeared in “Blow”, “Anatomy”, and “The Princess and The Warrior”.
Franka’s biggest success so far has been her starring role in 1999’s “Run Lola Run”.

Born 17 Jan 1926, Dunfermiline, Scotland. A ballerina with Sadlers Wells from 1942, she created roles in a number of works by Sir Frederick Ashton. Best known for her role as a dedicated ballerina in the 1948 film “The Red Shoes”.
Her later acting career included stage roles in plays by Chekhov and fellow Redhead Shaw.
Moira appeared in the 1955 film “The Man Who Loved Redheads”. Directed by Harold French and co-starring John Justin, it told the story of “A British Diplomat who is caught up in a double life because of his obsession with a Redheaded woman.”

21 February 1915 - 21 January 1967. Born Denton, Texas. The Oomph Girl, Ann made her film debut in the 1934 production "Wagon Wheels", although it was her role in the 1938 movie "Angels With Dirty Faces" that shot her to stardom.

In later years she moved to TV, starring in the soap opera "Another World" and the comedy western hit "Pistols 'n' Petticoats".

5th April 1900 - 10th June 1967. One of the best-loved actors of the Silver Screen, Spencer Bonaventure Tracy was born in Milaukee. Director John Ford gave him his big break when he cast Red Spencer in the 1932 hit "The Lost Mile".
The first actor to win back-to-back Oscars, collecting the matching bookends in 1937 and 1938 for his performances in "Captains Courageous" and "Boys Town".
